Welcome to Mage: The Fight For Survival

Welcome to Mage: FFS, a monthly Science Fiction LARP using the Mage The Awakening system, set hundreds of years in the future. To play in our game, please sign up for the forum, with your real name as a username, and submit a character concept in the personal forum that we will set up for you. All the information you need to create a character for our setting is in the Character Creation forum, and all the setting information can be found in the House Rules and Setting Info forum.

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Step 1 - Make an account with the forum:
Please use your real name when signing up to the forum, as this eases our administration of the game. You will be able change your account name to that of your character once it has been confirmed.

Step 2 - Familiarize yourself with the setting - both Mage the Awakening AND The Fight for Survival. If you are unfamiliar with the World of Darkness setting, an ST will walk you through the character creation process.

Step 3 - Submit a character concept to your personal forum:
Please write a short concept so we know what you will be playing. This does not need to be too long, a couple of paragraphs will do. The ST team will then let you know once we have approved your concept.

Step 4 - Stat up the character:
Once the concept has been approved, please create a character using the information provided in the Character Creation subforum.

Step 5 - Flesh out the Character:
Write a backstory! Build character relationships, backstory links, plot hooks, and so on. Your backstory may be as long as you want it to be, though we would appreciate it if you could also summarize it for us with a series of bullet points.
